This training course is designed to teach new web developers how to create web sites using Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. The course is task-based with students learning by doing. Along with covering the basics of Dreamweaver MX 2004, the course focuses on best practices and design, stressing the importance of usability.

•  Open and use the Dreamweaver MX 2004 interface to create pages and preview the pages in a browser

•  Use Dreamweaver 2004 to generate HTML tags for page formatting and view the resulting HTML source code

•  Create links between and within pages in Dreamweaver MX 2004

•  Create e-mail links

•  Use graphics to make your web site attractive and link to other pages

•  Create and implement a page design using HTML tables

•  Use Dreamweaver MX 2004 templates to implement a consistent page design

•  Create HTML forms to get information from your users

•  Create and link style sheets for a consistent look and feel of your web pages

•  Use behaviors to create interactive page elements

•  Test your web pages and deploy them to a remote site

• Maintain your web pages using 'find and replace'

Day 1 Introduction to HTML and Dreamweaver
