Students will have the abilities to create not only a functional web page but also a dynamic and attractive page. The course is designed to help students know how to use graphic tools and HTML authoring tools to create their web pages. Moreover, this course will also focus on creative strategies and effective design solutions for the WWW.

• Creating an Online Brand: Site brands including the design of the companies or sites logos
  
• Color on the Web
  Utilize PhotoShop color palette and tools to manage color effects
  Techniques of Photoshop
  Assignment

• Typography for the Web
  
• Work on the PhotoShop "Text" tools and filters
  
• Practice Path by using the "Pen" tools of Illustrator and PhotoShop
  
• Web page layout and development
  
• Using WYSWYG tool to create the HTML page

Unit 3:

• Explore the functions of Dreamweaver
  
• Doing JavaScript in Dreamweaver
  
• Dynamic graphics: Flash movie
  

• Work on Macromedia product Flash and play the dynamic flash movie
  
• Techniques of tools in the Flash tool bar
  
• Utilize the graphics and buttons symbols in the Timeline scene
